Final report

The ETH winter school "Ecosystem Genesis" had two aims and therefore consisted of two parts. First aim was to bring together PhD students of different disciplines working in the field of ecosystem genesis. The students should have experienced the breadth of research conducted and see the big picture of ecosystem genesis. At the end of that part the students looked for research gaps and open questions.

Second aim was to introduce the students to project management tools. The students practiced defining and planning a research project based on the research questions formulated during the first part of the winter school. Moreover, the students were introduced to tools that will help them structuring and managing their research projects in order to successfully finish their PhD.
